I've suffered with ectopic heart beats for several years now - and my life line is cold water. I carry it everywhere with me - and it really helps. If you get some flutters then drink down some quickly. I actually questioned my cardiologist about them and he confirmed because of the vagus nerve drinking cold water will help. Only problem is from drinking so much I spend an awful lot of time on the loo !
Would recommend it to everyone, also ...if you are having a really bad episode then either splashing your face with cold water or stepping into a cold shower can also help.
